WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A BOOKKEEPER AND AN ACCOUNTANT?

A bookkeeper handles the recording and classifying of your financial transactions such as invoice creations, bill entries, account reconciliations, adjusting entries and maintaining the general ledger. An accountant can handle more complex items such as tax advice and planning, auditing, analytical review of financial statements and annual business tax filings. The relationship between a bookkeeper and an accountant is more like a partnership. They work together to ensure compliance and ultimately success for your business.
